Built around the image you already have
An old signature sits across your photograph. A preview stamp remains on an approved poster. Your shop has a new logo, but the product photo is still useful. These are the kinds of edits ImgUnmark is made for: a specific mark on an existing image, with the surrounding composition worth keeping.
Start with your original, unwatermarked file whenever you have it. Repair is useful when that source is unavailable and you have the right to make the change.
Select. Repair. Compare.
- Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP image, or use the dedicated GIF tool for a supported animation.
- Brush over the visible mark. Refine your selection with erase and zoom controls.
- Run the repair, compare the original with the result, and download the finished image.
Google sign-in is required. Your first sign-in includes 1 credit, and each repair uses 1 credit. Comparing or downloading the same result does not use another credit.
Reconstruction, with limits
Image repair estimates what could sit behind a watermark. It does not uncover the original pixels hidden beneath it. Simple backgrounds are easier than faces, small text, repeating patterns or fine architectural details.
For selected-area still-image repairs, ImgUnmark keeps pixels outside the selection from the editing image. Large inputs may be resized before editing. Document-image repair and GIF processing have different behavior; read the limits on the tool you use.
AI repair sends the image and editing instructions to an external image service. GIF repair runs on our server. Local Quick repair, when available, fills the selection in your browser. The Privacy Policy explains the data flow.
Permission comes first
Removing a watermark does not transfer copyright or grant a license. Only work with images you own or are authorized to modify. We do not provide stock-photo licenses and are not affiliated with the brands named on our tool pages.
Read our Acceptable Use Policy for permitted examples and restrictions.
